Real moments happen naturally, but they are captured best with intention. There’s no formula for depth or connection, and every love story carries its own rhythm and that is where I begin. My approach blends a documentary foundation with an editorial aesthetic, focusing on light, composition, and the energy of the room. I arrive on your wedding day open and observant. Because your wedding isn’t a copy of something you’ve seen before, your photographs shouldn't be either.

The Approach

My couples often describe my presence as calm and grounding. I go fully with the flow of what you need—offering gentle direction when you need a moment of focus, and becoming invisible when you are lost in the moment. In the middle of the noise, the cheers and the nerves, I’ll find you. It’s about sensing when to step in and when to step back, blending my eye with your energy. Whether I am guiding you through a portrait or documenting the chaotic joy of the party, my goal is to make sure the process feels as natural and intentional as the celebration itself.

The Experience

What I capture is a layered narrative of your day. Refined, yet alive. I obsess over the details you’ve curated and the fleeting glances others might miss: the quiet exhale after the ceremony, and the way someone looks at you when you’re not aware of it. The result is a story that stands the test of time, feeling both authentic and timeless. Because these moments deserve a physical place in your life, they shouldn't simply live on a screen. I guide my couples in preserving their images thoughtfully through custom albums, so that the feeling of your wedding is held, printed, and never fades with time.

The Legacy

FAQ

I’m based in the Netherlands, but my work takes me across Europe. I’m often capturing weddings in places like Tuscany, the French coast, or the cliffs of Portugal. I love to infuse my wedding galleries with a sense of place, blending travel and culture into your story. While I frequently travel through Europe, I am always open to exploring new destinations for my couples.

Where are you based?

Plan your wedding for the experience, not just the aesthetic. While the details matter, the way it felt is what you will look for in your photos twenty years from now. Surround yourselves with people who make you feel grounded, choose a rhythm that allows for spontaneity, and trust that the most beautiful moments are the ones that happen when you aren't trying to make them perfect.

What should we keep in mind while planning?

Absolutely. While I use digital cameras for their precision and speed, I find that film captures the feeling of a wedding day like nothing else. I shoot a mix of both sometimes, using film for those quiet, artistic moments where the light and emotion deserve something a bit more tangible.

Do you work with both digital and analog photography?

The process starts with a conversation. After you get in touch, we’ll discuss your vision so I can provide tailored proposals that align with your unique plans. We’ll look at everything from the location to the hours of coverage you truly need to make sure it fits perfectly. To give you an idea: my starting rate for weddings is €2500. I’d love to hear more about what you are dreaming up and I’ll guide you through the next steps.
